INSURANCE PATIENTS

At this time Jeff is in-network with Unitied Healthcare for acupuncture only. We also offer the opportunity for sliding-scale acupuncture visits for low income individuals or those needing financial assistance. Please see the Wholeness Initiative page for more information. Please note: You are responsible for the time of service fees and we cannot guarantee insurance reimbursement. It is the patient's responsibility to confirm insurance coverage prior to booking their appointment. Billing insurance is not a guarantee of benefits. If your claim is denied, you will be obligated to pay for your visit out-of-pocket and your balance charged to your credit card on file. If your coverage cannot be verified before you appointment, payment will be due at the time of service.                    

HSA and FSA cards: We do, however, accept HSA and FSA cards.

Out of Network: Many insurance providers do not require acupuncture to be provided by in-network practitioners. If your insurance company covers out-of-network acupuncture, we are happy to provide you a ‘super bill’ that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement and to help meet your deductable.

Acupuncture-only treatments are the only reimbursable service through insurance. All of Jessa’s services and Jeff’s Acupuncture & Bodywork sessions, Craniosacral Therapy & Energy Medicine and Breathwork sessions are not applicable for insurance reimbursement.
